D-1-3 Bladder Tank Mixers

D-1-3-3 MSC Medium Range Bladder Tank Mixer

The bladder tank mixer is one of the most important parts of the equipment, where the foam water mixture is created according to performance requirements. Firefighting water flow enters the mixer, forced to pass through a narrow section with a predetermined size, creating a permanent head loss, resulting in some portion of the water to flow into the bladder tank vessel. Foam concentrate is pushed out from the vessel, and enters into the mixer after this narrow section passing through a metering orifice to create a mixture available for usage. ASME PTC 19.5 standard is used as a guideline for designing bladder tank mixers. According to the project requirements, C.S.I. s.r.l. offers various types of bladder tank mixers in this section to ensure correct functionality between the minimum and maximum flow rates and precise percentage of mixture.
