We are pleased to formally announce that C.S.I. srl has achieved FM Approval for our Fixed Foam Extinguishing Systems. This prestigious certification was officially granted on February 3, 2026, following extensive examination and testing.
Our systems have been verified for compliance with FM Approval Standard 5130 (Examination Standard for Foam Extinguishing Systems). This Approval specifically covers our systems designed for the protection of Heptane fuel hazards utilizing BIOEX ECOPOL 3% SFFF (Synthetic Fluorine-Free Foam) concentrate.
The FM Approved configuration includes the following high-performance components:
â–˛ Proportioning Equipment:F-MSC series Ratio Controllers (Models F-MSC DN50 through F-MSC DN200).
F-MSC models:
• F-MSC-50-25 Flow range: 350-1000 l/min
• F-MSC-80-32 Flow range: 400-4000 l/min
• F-MSC-100-40 Flow range: 700-7000 l/min
• F-MSC-150-50 Flow range: 1000-10000 l/min
• F-MSC-200-80 Flow range: 2000-20000 l/min
â–˛ Storage: Bladder Tanks models F-SMV (Vertical 200-15000 lt.) and F-SMH (Horizontal 400-15000 lt), according to EN 13445-3/PED or ASME VIII Div.1
â–˛ Hydraulic concentrate control valve: Combination of hydraulic double acting actuator (Valbia) mounted on full bore flanged ball valve (Valpres).
These valves are used in bladder tank foam systems and is installed in the foam concentrate line just before the proportioner foam concentrate inlet. When the foam system is operated, the increased water pressure opens this and enables foam concentrate passage into the proportioner.
â–˛ Foam Concentrate: BIOEX ECOPOL 3% AR-F3, an environmentally responsible, fluorine-free synthetic concentrate.
â–˛ Discharge Devices: Reliable automatic foam-water sprinklers, models RA1314, RA1325, RA6212, and RA6222.
