D-1-1-3 F-SMV F-SMH FM Approved Bladder Tanks

The F-SMV and F-SMH bladder tanks are FM Approved as a core component of fire extinguishing systems when used with approved BIOEX ECOPOL foam concentrates and F-MSC ratio controller. Detailed information regarding these approved system components is available Here under FM Approved – Foam Extinguishing Systems (FM5130).  Every unit is manufactured in strict accordance with EN13445/PED or ASME VIII Div.1.

The various models of bladder tanks are manufactured in steel with a suitable capacity to hold the foam concentrate planned during design. A mixer (proportioner) is to be used in order to mix the foam concentrate with water at the required percentage. A hypalon/neoprene bladder is fitted inside the tank to separate the foam concentrate from the water.
A foam concentrate tank fitted with an internal bladder, which uses water flow to control the foam concentrate injection rate by displacing the foam concentrate outside the bladder.
A bladder tank uses water pressure as a source of power. This device incorporates collapsible diaphragm (a bladder) that physically separates the foam concentrate from the water supply.
