Rim area fire systems are designed to provide a rapid firefighting measure, to extinguish fire over the rim areas of floating roof storage tanks at very early stages before creating a developed fire event. Extinguishing agents are foam or CF3I agent according to request. System can be actuated automatically by pneumatic detection or connected to centralized F&G detection and suppression panels. Each RAFP system protects 40 running meters of a storage tank rim area. The system is equipped with ATEX certified pressure transmitters to supervise system readiness simultaneously. Pressure vessels are designed and constructed according to 2014/68/UE and bear CE mark.
