RSFP The Rim Seal Foam Pourers are used to fight fires over the rim area of the floating roof storage tanks. RSFP is an equipment which is used with low expansion foam and pours it sliding through its special design onto the rim seal area. Its special construction avoids non desired effects such as the wind which may deploy the expanded foam outside of the protected area. RSFP is based on the principle of LSF type foam makers and it is used to expand the foam solution by introducing air into the flow. The Foam system design guidelines are generally used in accordance with NFPA 11 standard. Rim Seal Foam pourers are defined by NFPA 11 as Type II discharge outlets to deliver the low expansion aspirated foam to the rim seal area.
